Brief

Stroom (electric current — Ukrainian) is a startup born just this year. It’s a career guidance platform for teenagers and young people in Ukraine, featuring a list of the most in-demand professions, detailed information and statistics for each, educational opportunities, internships, and volunteering options, as well as testing. Naturally, Stroom needed branding: a name and identity.

Solution

When you're a teenager, you often don’t know where to start. Exams, university admission, choosing a profession, the future — it all feels overwhelming, turning into a tangled web of obligations impossible to unravel. Stroom is a platform that helps you map out your career path stress-free, without a million browser tabs open. It connects different audiences: teenagers and young people figuring out their direction, employers looking for young specialists, educational institutions, and youth organizations. This idea of illuminating and intertwining paths became the foundation of the visual identity.

Stroom started as an idea at the Open Data Hackathon – what if we could help teenagers and young people define their path? It won the hackathon, earning positive feedback from the jury and media.

Stroom is currently participating in the Open Data Accelerator program, which helps startups grow and provides grants. The official platform launch and communication campaign are coming soon, so stay tuned!
